In the afternoon of February 24, 2017, mid-term review meeting of major special subject of critical new drug preparation technology "construction for emergency treatment research and development system of influenza vaccine and research and development subject of products" led by China National Biotec Group was held in Beijing. Leaders of competent authorities including Ministry of Science and Technology, National Health Commission, China FDA, Disease Control and Prevention Center of Henan Province etc., experts including Mrs. Li Lanjuan, Academician, Mr. Zhao Kai, Academician, Mr. Wan Junzhi, Researcher etc. and 8 undertaking units of National Institute for Viral disease Control and Prevention, China CDC, National Institutes for Food and Drug Control and Hualan Bio and so on attended in this meeting. Hualan Biological Bacterin Inc. reported the Phase I research results of H7N9 influenza vaccine in the meeting. The trail results was ideal and phase II clinical research was planned to initiate in March. Experts participated in that gave out a high evaluation about this review meeting, suggesting that competent authorities can speed up the review and other policies, accelerate the progress of project and prepare well for prevention and control for H7N9 influenza.
